This Highland above the Capital is the work area of so many endeavours; Entoto's High plateau appears among adorable Juniper hills and dreamlike meadows. Ultimately, beyond the horizon of golden fields, this landscape of forgotten dreams reveals its southern border in the abyss Bees' Cliff (14). Here it shows very soon; the beautiful path (42) to Entoto Natural Park (Nursery) 34, where the massive work has elapsed with nature restoration for many years.

16. An Ideal Place for the Well-Equipped Family

From this location, the high plateau ledge (16) provides pleasant resting places for picnics in social tranquillity, which rejoices both the children's spontaneity and those with weekend's vacancy. This place delivers for them all in pure natural relaxation or incurious studying. The pure original nature offers a dreamlike landscape and a fun entertainment place in one and the same high plateau. This all together is delicately facilitated by the high point of view, even over the mist-veiled Capital far below. Much closer, the farmhouse is reminded and not far below even the spiritually chanting walls of Entoto Kidane Mehret Church (32).



16. The Path to the View Above the Capital
A. The Character of Entoto Kidane Mehret's valley.
The square [A] serves to assign for the valley's location just to the right of Entoto Kidane Mehret (1). Further, this square [A] serve as a directing or facilitating figure to more easily find points (5)(22), and (37) which are located within square [A] and form the valley at Entoto Kidane Mehret (1) and its sanctuary (32).  This area [A] is the beginning of most of the following hiking trails described.

B. The Invitation to the crossroad of wilderness.
The still gently upward hike shown within the circle (B) includes the points (35)(38)(39) and constitutes both a crossroads of somewhat wild paths but also a beautiful rise in a ledge of some metres threshold. This crossroads is located just to the right of point (38), but regardless of the choice of the hiking paths within the loop point (B), all of these will soon contact the continued walk towards the higher positions.



Enchanting View Above the Capital (16)

An excellent place for all types of outdoor adventures or serene and recovering studies in silent awe from a high plateau panorama view with surroundings of dense matured Juniper trees. Arriving at this high viewpoint (16) and the outermost plateau ledge is dramatically alluring. This, thanks to the substantial rise upwards, offers some beautiful and exciting rests with magnificent scenery and historical surprises with an old Italian fortification (38) and trees of a surprising dignified furrowed patina. Here is also lovely terraces and good quality lawns for sports and activities. 

Description of the Photo with the Waterfall - Bees' Cliff (14)

The gorge under Bees' Cliff is breakthrough deep and creates hidden mountain arches and deep baths behind Juniper trees before its fall. The paths up to Bees' Cliff (14) offer several options; the northern hillside of the tributary gorge (36), the southern slope of (38-39) - (15-16) and (41), where Podocarpus and Juniper trees give strong reason to consider both vegetation and purging water.


An Abyss of a World Forgotten by Time


**[CAUTION]: Abyss, Bees' Cliff (14)
A magnificent magic world veiled by time beyond memories.
The outlet for the waterfall and its chasm (14) is just some metres opposite the camera view of the picture. However, this concealed rock vault is a void of dizzying height and a mysteriously hidden place. Severe precaution is of utmost importance to avoid chancy behaviour. Care for people with sensitivity for heights to not climb into this mountain vault without being double secured with harnesses and other equipment.

A Grande Scenery of Beauty and Adventure.
Here in this enticing deep underworld of shadows and greenery, this treacherous luring cliff vault (14) and abyss gives a home to pure magic twilight where Ravens reside and invite to pleasant arts of flights as well as approaches in playful jacket pinching mischiefs.

Although this remarkable rock vault and bath is the most entertaining of wild places, it is nevertheless a dangerous place during rainy seasons, without any possibility of a positive outcome.


Deep Beauty Delivers Adventure Beyond Knowledge.

A panorama photo is a group of magnificent and powerful Juniperus procera trees in a near park-like setting, captivatingly located a little behind the camera direction in the header image. On the corresponding side, behind and to the left, is hidden the over 50-year-old forest of wild and original Juniperus procera trees (40). This wild and mighty native Juniper forest (40) provides a unique insight into how nature emerged before the Eucalyptus trees were introduced from Australia over 100 years ago.

Magic wildlife in the twilight calls for the realm of dreams.

This native Juniper woodland (40) is massive in its appearance and stunning in vitality, with a perfect, lush and dense undergrowth. The natural wildlife and lush beauty of this indigenous Juniper forest (40) illuminate with precision the beauty of the native trees and their impressive ability to heal the landscape and environment.
